BLUE CHRISTMAS. Toy Drive- Sat. Dec 13

Only three weeks til’ Christmas and I bet you’re stressin’ over the small things.

During Christmas we tend to forget about people in need because we are busy buying presents, planning parties and thinking about what we may get this year.

Some of us are fortunate to take part in these things but what about families and kids who don’t get anything at Christmas time? Kids are often the ones who suffer the most, not understanding why they didn’t get a gift and then are faced with friends in school who got new gear and hot toys.

This year Poetry Nightclub is making sure that the kids aren’t forgotten at Christmas.  On Last weekend Poetry Nightclub permanently checked your coat for the holiday children’s coat drive.  They collected children’s coats for ages 4-10.

This weekend on December 13th Poetry Nightclub will also be hosting a toy drive that will benefit the United States Marine Corp’s TOYS FOR TOTS program.  Bring in an unopened toy and make a child’s Christmas one of the best times of the year.

And y’all know you get FREE admission and a FREE drink on the house if you bring a toy!
